The CMAI group (Sogal, Agem, Quadro) continues its development by completing the acquisition of the companies Puertas Sanrafael and Puertas Castalla in Spain
The CMAI Group (Compagnie Manufacturing d'Aménagements Intérieurs) acquires 100% of the capital of the companies Sanrafael and Puertas Castalla, specialists in decorative interior doors in Spain.
The CMAI group was created in 2015, on the occasion of the acquisition by Établissements Sogal, the main French player in made-to-measure closets and walk-in closets in all distribution channels, of the company Agem, a specialist in custom interior design. of all the parts of the house at specialized points of sale. Since that date, the group has also acquired in 2018 the company Quadro and its network of stores under the banner, and has thus become the undisputed leader in home personalization, by allowing everyone to optimize their spaces, to improve and enhance their living environment.
Founded in 1986, Sanrafael develops, produces and markets to a network of distributors, resellers and installers, in Spain and internationally, decorative interior doors of all types of high-end finishes, in standard dimensions and made to measure, intended for residential or tertiary environments.
Founded in 1989, Castalla develops, manufactures and markets in Spain and internationally decorative interior doors with medium and high-end finishes, intended for the residential environment, through specialized dealers or the large DIY distribution.
A major European player in interior fittings and carpentry
This merger will create a new European Group, with 1,100 employees and a consolidated turnover of around € 140m (2019).
It will allow CMAI to acquire the know-how and resources necessary to pursue its growth strategy in the field of interior doors in France, successfully initiated in 2018.
Sanrafael and Castalla, for their part, will be able to draw on the group's complementary know-how in order to deploy these offers in Spain and within the framework of the international projects in which they are involved.
The management of the Group's Spanish companies will be handled by Miguel Angel CEPEDA, Managing Director of Sanrafael for over 10 years.

Founded in 1989 in the province of Alicante, CASTALLA develops, manufactures and markets in Spain and internationally custom-made interior doors and cabinets with medium and high-end finishes, intended for the residential environment, through specialist distributors and large DIY retailers. CASTALLA employs 133 people and has a 20,000 m² factory. Over the past few years, it has focused on developing a wide range of products available at short notice. Its distribution network is represented in 12 countries.
